Housed in an old school with a historic classroom, the Auetal local history museum provides an insight into the village's cultural landscape on three levels.
Exhibition focuses include rural life and crafts. The numerous exhibits provide an authentic and extremely interesting impression of everyday life in times gone by. Exciting activity days, special exhibitions and educational museum events are a regular reason to visit. On request, school classes can experience a lesson here as it was 100 years ago.
