Paschenburg
A building erected in 1842 as an excursion restaurant in a place that the Romantics had already discovered in the 18th century as one of the most beautiful in the Weser Mountains. Nestled in a shady beech forest, directly above the steep cliff of the mountain ridge, the Paschenburg is one of the most traditional inns in the Schaumburg region.
No other place in the entire Weserbergland also offers a viewing terrace at a comparable height above the river. More than bends of the river shimmering in the distance can be seen from here on a clear day.
