There is a cultural and historical highlight right at the start of the third stage with the Pied Piper town of Hameln. The historic old town of Hameln boasts restored half-timbered houses, small alleyways and many references to the legend of the Pied Piper. On the left bank of the Weser, you cycle along the country road and through beautiful natural landscapes directly alongside the Weser via Haverbeck and Lachem until shortly before Fuhlen, where you cross the Weser. Here you can make a short detour to Hessisch Oldendorf to Münchhausendorf, one of the largest town castles of the Schaumburg nobility. The route then takes you along the Weser to Großenwieden in a beautiful landscape. Here you will be taken to the other side of the Weser on a yaw rope ferry that uses the current of the river. Passing the Exten orangery, you reach the former university and fortress town of Rinteln. Popular excursion destinations are the historical guided tours, the Eulenberg Museum and the Weserdorf adventure beer garden. Back on the left bank of the Weser, you pass many lakes and Vlotho Castle before reaching Porta Westfalica. Further north, after just under 70 kilometers, you will reach the city of Minden with its diverse architectural styles and well-known cultural institutions.

Nehmen Sie die A7 bis Hannover, weiter auf der A2 Richtung Bielefeld, Abfahrt Lauenau und über die B83 nach Hameln.
Aus dem Süden:
Fahren Sie auf der A7 bis zum Autobahnkreuz Kassel-Süd, weiter über die A44 in Richtung Paderborn, Abfahrt Warburg in Richtung Höxter und anschließend auf der B252 und B1 nach Hameln.
Aus dem Westen:
Die Autobahn A2 Richtung Hannover, Abfahrt Bad Eilsen und über die B83 nach Hameln.
Aus dem Osten:
Die Autobahn A2 Richtung Bielefeld, Abfahrt Lauenau und über die B83 nach Hameln.
