The Eulenburger Acht runs along the southern side of the Bückeberge. In the shape of an eight, the tour connects the two hiking parking lots Kathrinhagen and An der Eulenburg. On the way, you pass the charcoal burner's hut and the "place of mysterious stories", where you can read stories to children. From the edges of the forest, you can enjoy wonderful views of the Auetal valley and the Weser mountains.
From the Kathrinhagen hiking parking lot, you can take a detour (approx. 1 km) along the Loccum-Volkenroda pilgrimage route to visit the Romanesque Katharinenkirche church and the ancient church lime tree.
